Before kicking off our bike tour, we spent a few days exploring Lisbon. We arrived in a downpour & grabbed a fantastic dinner around the corner from our hostel. Lisbon's wildly expensive lodging and our very last-minute arrival landed us in a three-story bunk situation with Kyle on the 3rd level and Kelsey on the 2nd. The room was tiny, but the location was great. The grocery shop across the street didn't have a bottle of wine over $8; we got a few days' worth of food + a bottle of wine for less than $30. We wandered the hilly streets & scoped out coffee shops. We were fortunate to have lovely weather for the remainder of our short stay & spent as much time outdoors as possible.
