With the race complete, we were ready to head to Italy to celebrate Kyle's parents' 60th birthday and eat all the carbs. We had the most eventful flight, with only half of the group's luggage arriving. After filling out paperwork, we took our transfer to Praiano & then walked in the pouring rain to our villa. The rain stopped shortly after & we were able to walk into town and grab some delectable sandwiches & limoncello spritzer ingredients for lunch on our patio. The views were absolutely stunning & we're so sad we couldn't stay at the house longer. Kelsey would quite happily live there full-time. We went to an amazing dinner built down into the cliffs. All the pasta, fresh fish, and wine made from the next town over.

On our first full day, we hiked down to Marina di Praia for a delicious lunch & a quick swim before catching a boat taxi to Amalfi. We wandered through the town admiring all the cute shops & then caught the bus back up to our villa. We ended the day soaking in golden hour & the sunset from our terrace with a charcuterie board & homemade carbonara for dinner.

On our last day on the Amalfi coast, Kyle, Anna & Austin hiked the Path of the Gods over to Positano while Shari, Tom & Kelsey met them via bus. We got day bed loungers & enjoyed a perfectly sunny day with a short lunch break for pizza. We winged it for dinner, but after a while of searching + Kyle & Anna jogging up out of town a bit to inquire, we had another amazing meal. We also were reunited with two of the three missing bags!
