Ubud, Bali was an incredible adventure that highlighted the best of what Bali has to offer. We were drawn to the town's central location, reputation for excellent food, and cultural experiences, and I was not disappointed.

One of the standout experiences of the trip was a visit to the famous Monkey Forest in Ubud. It was a little chaotic with monkeys getting into all kinds of trouble, like stealing food and phones from unsuspecting visitors. But the lush forest setting and the chance to get up close with these playful creatures made it an unforgettable experience.

Another highlight was the hike up Mount Batur, which took around four hours and was a true test of endurance with rough terrain and slick, loose rocks. But the stunning view from the summit, overlooking the whole of Bali, was absolutely worth it.

Throughout my trip, we stayed in a beautiful and unique open-air villa that added to the overall sense of immersion in Bali's natural beauty. It had a really cool vibe because it felt like I was always outside, with only the bedrooms having doors and walls on all sides.

All in all, Ubud, Bali is a destination that should be on every traveler's bucket list. With its rich culture, breathtaking scenery, and warm and welcoming people, it offers a unique and unforgettable experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression.
