On our recent visit to Bali, we couldn't resist the allure of Canggu, a beach town praised by many as a must-see destination. With anticipation and excitement, we embarked on our adventure, ready to explore the best of what Canggu had to offer.

Our first hostel experience was memorable, but not for the right reasons. It was dirty, and the other guests weren't particularly social. This led us to opt for a luxurious villa for our last night, which turned out to be one of the coolest places we stayed during our entire trip.

Canggu offered a variety of beach clubs where we enjoyed sipping cocktails by the ocean. Our thirst for adventure led us to hire a driver and explore the breathtaking Uluwatu region. The cliffside Uluwatu Temple and pristine beaches left a lasting impression, making Uluwatu a must-visit if we ever return to Bali.

While the local cuisine didn't particularly stand out, Canggu's nightlife had its charm. We discovered a speakeasy that served craft cocktails, adding a dash of excitement to our evenings.

Our time in Canggu may have been brief, but it was a memorable part of our journey. From luxurious villas to stunning temples and hidden speakeasies, Canggu offered a little something for everyone.
